AeroTEC expands its AS9100D Certification
Include Design and Engineering of Aerospace Products, including Aerospace Modifications
AeroTEC has received ISO9001:2015/AS9100D certification for the “Design and Engineering of Aerospace Products,” including Aircraft Modifications after an audit conducted by the Performance Review Institute (PRI) Registrar.
“We have demonstrated a commitment to quality by implementing the AS9100D standards, and this certification is an acknowledgement of the significant effort by our team,” said Lee Human, AeroTEC President & CEO. “Those that know this process know that it doesn’t come overnight.”
This design and engineering certification compliments AeroTEC’s existing ISO/AS certifications for their Arlington Manufacturing Center, as well as their FAA 145 Repair Station in Moses Lake, WA.
“Our customers can have confidence in our product development process and quality systems from initial requirements all the way through to the final modified aircraft,” said Human.
AeroTEC’s preexisting ISO9001:2015/AS9100D scope includes “Surface Coating and Coating of Other Customer Supplied Aircraft Assemblies / Aerospace Components and Manufacture of Turn-key Assemblies to Aerospace Customer Requirements.”
