Check out the future hybrid-powered Dash 7! NASA, magni-X, AeroTEC and Air Tindi have partnered to convert a Dash 7 to electric power within the NASA flight test program. Thanks to an amazing effort by our maintenance team, we welcomed Dash 7, Serial #11, to Yellowknife today! Serial #11 was captained by Air Tindi President, Chris Reynolds; Chief Pilot, Ted Duinker; as well as Dash 7 Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, Rob Isabey. They flew from Toronto Island to Yellowknife where it will undergo several weeks of maintenance, and then head to the United States for initial flight testing.
