90 minutes from NYC to London? NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration thinks it's possible. NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory is looking to bring back supersonic travel to commercial planes which means a flight from NYC to London could take just 90 minutes! The X-59 spacecraft, also known as the 'Son of Concorde,' will have a top speed of nearly 1,500 km per hour, potentially reducing travel time between New York and London by 3 hours and 30 minutes, and even cutting a 22-hour flight from London to Sydney down to just two hours.
